Reviews
Few Toilets, but great location at an incredible lake! Price is ok and people working here were very nice. Having a pool is a plus and everything was clean
Very well located beside the lake, but not with a view of the lake as you think you might get. We arrived just after a heavy rain storm and and the site plots were very muddy, trees for shade but no grass just mud. The toilets and showers were clean but I feel a deep clean would be more beneficial. The toilets and shower blocks were very dated. Moreover, it was very very noisy, there was a group of lads making so much noise and although the camp had rules there was nobody enforcing them. Decided to leave the next day as it was not for us. The location was great for cycling around the lake and the receptionist was very polite.
The camp site is in a great location; The town of Banyoles is a ten minutes walk, or five minute cycle away, with walking paths and cycle paths direct.
There are walking and cycle paths circumnavigating the lake.
There are numerous good and drink locations within the town, many of the restaurants are excellent quality.
We arrived as a last minute in a torrential rains storm. Camp site is directly beside the beautiful Banyoles lake which is so easy to walk or bike around very safely. The campsite itself had plenty of plots and lots of sites for activities. Because of rain the site was really muddy. We were at the back of campsite and had planned to stay 2 nights but beside us were several tents occupied by groups of young men. They were incredibly noisy from 5pm onwards so we decided to leave the next morning.
Big campsite with loads of bungalow/mobile homes too. Plenty of shower facilities and chemical waste disposal areas scattered around the camping. The plot we got was large but there are some small ones near the entrace of the campsite. Make sure you try and get the ones up top passing the pool area
Staff is very friendly and even helped us out by cutting the chain to the bike rack as we seem to have left the keys back in France at our last site 🙄.
We came during a long weekend and the site was not too overcrowded. There are 2 pools which are large enough.
There is a beautiful lake just outside the camping with a lovely bicycle lane network so you can cycle to the other side of it.
Nice staff, 24€ GV 2 adults, late checkout no plug. Comfortable showers. We were offered an inner shadow pitch, easier to park than expected at first sight. Many permanent settlers and children but relatively calm (silence 12am-7am). Overnight option available starting at 7pm with checkout by 11am, about 11 € plus electricity. ACSI discount out of season.
Not the best campsite we visited. Reception were friendly and facilities ok but not the cleanest. The site is mainly filled with permanent caravans which were quite tatty. There was just a small corner at the back of the site for camper vans so the atmosphere was a bit strange. Wifi was an extra fee as well.
Excellent campsite 15 minutes walk from Banyoles centre, 2 minute walk to lake.
